Méribel or Courchevel for a Family Holiday?

The right family base is the one that makes your ordinary holiday day easier: breakfast, getting everyone ready, reaching lessons and returning home. Start with those routines, then compare the accommodation.

Choose the village before the view

Courchevel includes several distinct villages. Our collection covers Le Praz, Village, Moriond and 1850. Compare each location with your intended lesson meeting point. A lift connection on a resort map does not establish a walking route from a particular chalet.

For the Méribel valley, compare Méribel apartments, Méribel Village chalets and Les Allues. These are separate bases: confirm seasonal transport and the return journey before choosing lessons elsewhere in the valley.

Compare beds, not just capacity

A property sleeping eight does not necessarily have four double bedrooms. Read the room-by-room description for bunks, twins and shared rooms. Decide whether children will share, whether grandparents need a separate bedroom, and whether stairs present a difficulty. Request cots and highchairs before booking; do not assume they are included.

Leave room for a day without skiing

Méribel Tourism lists swimming and skating at the Parc Olympique among its family activities. Check opening times and admission for your dates. For either resort, agree a simple alternative day before you travel and confirm transport separately. Accommodation availability in autumn does not mean ski lifts or winter activities are operating.

What to send with your enquiry

Give us dates, adults, children’s ages, preferred bed arrangements and any lesson plans. Tell us whether you need airport transfers and the size of your luggage.
