Who is responsible

Enquiries and bookings
We use the name, contact details, dates, guest numbers, selected properties and message you provide to respond to your request and prepare or fulfil a booking. This processing is necessary for steps you request before a contract and for performance of a contract. Required form fields are identified; without the necessary contact and stay details we cannot process your request. Please do not send identity documents, payment-card details or sensitive health information through the enquiry form.
Website operation and enquiry sources
Our legitimate interests in running and securing the service support technical logs, abuse prevention and analysis of enquiry sources. An enquiry may include campaign tags, the referring website hostname and landing page. Full referrer URLs are not stored. This source attribution does not use advertising cookies. The shortlist and privacy-notice preference are stored in your browser. Secure access cookies are used for the admin and private guest portal; the portal uses email verification codes.
Service providers
The website and stored records use Vercel services. Email delivery and correspondence use Namecheap Private Email. Displaying a map connects your browser to OpenStreetMap tile services, which receive connection information including your IP address. Providers may process information outside France or the European Economic Area. Contact us for information about the providers and transfer safeguards applicable to your request.
Retention
The retention period adopted for enquiries that do not become bookings is 12 months from the last meaningful contact. Removal or anonymisation is handled manually, not by an automatic deletion system. Booking, accounting and dispute records are kept for the periods needed to fulfil the contract, meet applicable legal obligations and handle claims; the applicable period depends on the record and purpose. Your rights and marketing choices
You may request access, correction, erasure or restriction, and where applicable portability or object to processing, by emailing info@alpes-maison.com. Optional marketing consent is separate from an enquiry and can be withdrawn at any time. You can lodge a complaint with the CNIL at https://www.cnil.fr. Newsletter sign-up does not affect your enquiry or booking.
Anonymous audience counts
We count public page loads on our server for the operation and improvement of this website, without analytics cookies, session storage, fingerprints or visitor identifiers. Aggregate interaction counts and in-site page changes may also be sent to our own server. Records contain daily totals by public page and broad referrer category; full referrer URLs, query values, IP addresses, location and device profiles are not stored in these audience records. We do not combine these anonymous totals with guest records or advertising identifiers. Estimated arrivals are document requests with an external or missing referrer, not unique people or exact sessions. Known bots, prefetches and signed-in owner activity are excluded where detectable. Totals are kept for a rolling 30 days in our existing Vercel hosting and private storage. Our legitimate interest is operating and improving the website. Google and Meta advertising measurement still requires its separate consent. Earlier consent-based aggregate records remain separate until their normal expiry.
Optional live chat
Live chat is provided by tawk.to and loads only after you choose Agree and start chat. It processes the messages and any contact details you supply, technical connection data and chat cookies/storage to provide the conversation. tawk.to may process data outside the European Economic Area; its privacy information is available at https://www.tawk.to/privacy-policy/. Close and stop chat disconnects the embedded chat; it does not delete messages already sent or existing provider cookies. You can instead email info@alpes-maison.com, including to request information or deletion of your chat records. Chat has its own consent and is separate from anonymous audience counts.
Optional Google Ads measurement
With your separate consent, Google Ads uses cookies and technical connection data to associate ad clicks with successful accommodation enquiries. We send a conversion event with a nominal value of EUR 1 for reporting, not a payment amount. We do not send your name, email, telephone number or enquiry content. Google may process data outside the EEA. Advertising personalisation is disabled. The tag does not load before consent; refusal does not affect bookings. Your choice lasts six months and can be changed in Privacy settings. Withdrawing consent stops future conversion events; it does not erase data already sent or existing Google cookies. Browser analytics provider
Vercel Web Analytics browser measurement has been removed from public pages. Anonymous counters use only our own website and its existing hosting/storage; no analytics browser identifier is created.
Meta Pixel (optional)
Only after you save a separate Meta advertising measurement choice, Meta Pixel 2609439582892928 loads from Meta and measures public page views, including visits from ads. Meta receives page addresses, browser/device and connection data and may set _fbp and _fbc cookies to associate activity with Meta accounts. Meta processes this data under its own privacy policy (https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/), potentially outside the EEA with applicable transfer safeguards. We do not enable automatic advanced matching or automatic form-data collection, and do not send enquiry text, names or emails as event parameters. The consent choice expires after 180 days. You can decline or withdraw using Privacy settings; withdrawal stops future events and removes first-party Meta cookies. It does not undo data already received by Meta.
