Payment, cancellation & booking terms
Security deposit and payment
After accepting your rental agreement, pay 50% of the accommodation total to receive written booking confirmation. The remaining 50%, tourist tax and EUR 1,500 refundable security deposit are collected together 14 days before arrival. For bookings made 14 days or fewer before arrival, the full accommodation amount, tourist tax, security deposit and agreed extras are payable to confirm. We accept payment by bank transfer or credit card. For any other means of payment, do not hesitate to discuss it with your Alpes Maison representative.
Refundable security deposit
Your EUR 1,500 deposit is separate from the rental price. If no deductions are required, it is returned within 14 calendar days of check-out. Any damage claim is documented with an itemised report and photographs within seven days. Normal wear is not charged. You may respond to a claim; any deduction and return arrangements follow your rental agreement.
Cancellation
Standard cancellation terms for new bookings, where accepted by the accommodation provider: written cancellation received at least 60 days before scheduled check-in is free; less than 60 days but at least 14 days before incurs a charge of 50% of the accommodation price; less than 14 days before or a no-show incurs a charge of 100%. The charge is based on accommodation after any agreed discount, excluding the security deposit, tourist tax and separately priced extras. Eligible refunds are issued within 14 calendar days. Tax not due and extras not supplied are refunded, except lawful third-party cancellation charges accepted in advance. If cancelled nights are re-let, a further refund may be due under the agreement. Days mean periods of 24 hours before scheduled check-in. Your quotation and agreement state the applicable policy before you accept; existing accepted bookings retain their original terms. Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.
